I'm teaching myself to crochet and need a bit of basic advice.

I'm working on a solid 12" granny square which has comprised of ch4, make a circle and then working rounds with each round having a ch2 to make the corner.

I've now done 5 rounds and my square is approx 5". As the square gets bigger do I still ch2 for every corner or do I increase the number of chain stitches??

Thanks to anyone who can advise.

You still Ch 2 at the corners - the actual corners don't get any bigger as the square gets bigger so you only need the same number of stitches to get round them :)

Agreed.
