IS there a quick way to get papier mache to dry? oven?

only kids are getting fed up waiting for the first few layers of there soon-to-be pumpkins to dry out so they can add more layers

can I bake them on low (they are balloons inside)

airing cupboard?
top of a radiator?
I wouldn't put them in the oven tbh

don't own a hairdryer
have a combi boiler so no airing cupboard

I suppose I could put the heating on .. but we haven't yet

will they go bang in oven do you think?
