I only ever buy Burda magazine and not that often, just when I remember to be honest.

I am not sure you can buy a subscription though, you can buy a bundle which includes patterns for digital download.

I have never bought another one so I am not sure what else is out there.

For absolute inspiration, rather than sewing per se, try Selvedge magazine.
I'm really wanting it myself but haven't quite got round to it.

Simply Sewing has just been published and has a 3 month trial subscription of 3 issues for £5 (remember to cancel after the trial!)

I have a subscription to Sew magazine. You can pick it up in most supermarkets, so you could always have a flick through to see what you think. It has a good variety of stuff eg toys, clothes and home accessories to sew in each issue, and always comes with a free gift, often a pattern or fabric sample, so good value for money too
