Babys first shoes in a frame / other display.Suggestions?

I have DD1 and DS first shoes in a frame with their handprints and the date on, and they look great. Unfortunately with DD2 I put the shoes away and forgot about them ( neglected third child{blush]) and now, a year later her handprints won't match so basically I was wondering if anyone had any other displaying suggestions?

I have their first shoes (baby trainers!) in box frames from Ikea. Nothing fancy.

You could find a child the right age and get their hand prints to put in... only you would know.

Thanks Soupd, I have a guy in mind to frame them and was thinking of maybe just a contrasting colour piece of card to stick them on. Think I saw something fancy with crepe paper once but am not sure I could make it look any better than something my dd did at school.

Have a look at craft sites - scrapbook paper may have some appropriate patterns.

Think I'll have a look in local arty shop, my attempts with crepe paper met with raised eyebrows from DH!

You'd want something lignum free and acid free which is what most of the scrapbook stuff is. Could you include a picture of your DD wearing the shoes?
