I've just made some following a pattern from the DK Crochet book and despite saying that they're to fit an 8-10 year child, they don't even fit my small 6 year old. Very pissed off as they're supposed to be a birthday present for nieces. I'm finding it impossible to find a pattern online, and despite recommendation here I cannot understand how on earth Ravelry is supposed to work. Any patterns I've ever found all seem to be referring to ones in books or magazines which you have to then buy. Please can someone help .....

if you look down the left hand side once you've done your initial search and choose free, you'll get ones that don't need to be paid for Smile

try these ones, they're adult size but easily adjustable if you start with a smaller foundation row than recommended, you just need an even number of stitches for the pattern to work, fingerless gloves
