Tunisian Crochet

Does anyone do tunisian crochet?
I've been trying to teach myself and started a project but its curling up! I'm using a bigger hook than I would usually with the yarn I'm using because I've read that that is supposed to help but it's still like a scroll. Any ideas?

There is a trick to stopping it rolling up. I will look out a book I have somewhere and try to get back to you . Sorry if this is an obvious question but have you tried Google. Are you just practicing or following a pattern?

The first chain and foundation rows need to be very loose. Use a much larger hook the go back to the usual size. It works for me.

I found putting in purl rows stopped it curling but that does change the look of the piece.

So far Google has told me to use a bigger hook size, block it or purl it.
I might go back and redo the foundation row and see if that does help or if it's just something I'm doing. I was wondering if my tension is too tight and I actually need to go up another hook size.
I did consider working a purl row but wasn't sure I'd like how it looks.
Thanks for your help :)
