One of my tutors mentioned that there is an DIY alternative to using canvas boards - something that involves sheets of hardboard, muslin and PVA glue (I think).
Being somewhat slow on the uptake, I didn't ask him to repeat his instructions and hundreds of years later, I have forgotten what he said!
Does anyone know what I'm going on about?
