Ideas for craft group projects

Hi, I am one of a group of mums who are thinking about setting up a craft group - we get together to learn how to do simple craft projects.
We are a varied group with varied skills and confidence.
Does anyone have any good ideas for simple projects that could start us off? I am thinking along the lines of making a pin board, or cushions.
Or/and does anyone know any good website / books that could be a source of inspiration?

Pinterest cannot be beaten for crafty ideas.

Craftgawker is great for ideas - maybe marginally better than Pinterest if you don't know what sort of craft you want as it gives a variety of projects each day, often specific to the season/celebration.

I tend to browse Craftgawker with a mug of coffee and pin things to my pinterest boards for later :)
