Fab present!
Have you browsed the crochet patterns on Etsy for inspiration. I especially like the instant download PDF's as you can get started straight away.

If that's 6x100g then it will at least make a start of a lovely attic 24 blanket. Have a look at her website for inspiration

No, it's 6x 50g so wouldn't make a blanket (although could be a baby blanket, or a number of scarves).

Love the colours!

I'm making DH some chunky house socks. I'm making up the pattern as I go! :)

You can search Ravelry by the amount and type of yarn you have and the craft you want to do. See what comes up.

I would go for a ripple blanket with 6 different colour but it probably isn't enough as CatCushion says. I am doing a granny stripe and I am on my third ball of 100g Stylecraft Special DK and it will just about single bed sized when finished. About 1500g as there are 5 colours just as an idea of what it takes.

I did ponder a nice ripple. Don't mind adding more balls to it.

Or maybe a scarf thing?

Maybe the attic 24 flower cushion.
