hello mp!
not sure if can make it but would love to (it's not far from me too)

jeangenie · 12/10/2006 10:53

I'd like to go too. Is quite far from me but I enjoyed it a lot last year...I've not been doing much lately so am in need of an inspiration burst

Let me know if you think you'll make it and we could meet up for a cuppa maybe...

Hi Marina

am good thanks. How are you? Have been very busy with RL (working more these days ) and not had time to be around here much, never mind doing any knitting. However, I downloaded some dinosaur patterns courtesy of that great Xmas gifts thread and am looking forward to starting those. Great stocking fillers for my dinosaur mad DDs...

I saw you did another blanket (I was too late to join in by the time I spotted the thread) - well done - did you post any piccies?

Shame you can't make the show, would have been nice to see you again

Bundle is still finishing off the other blankie so pictures are imminent but not yet live, as it were. Hoxtonchick took some of the assembly line at NQC's but has mysteriously failed to post them (we can't have looked that unhinged Hoxty ). It is possible that, school-age children permitting, we might embark on a third one in the new year . Will CAT/mail you with details if it gets off the ground (I'm not organising this one, just helping!)
good to hear from you even if work is

jeangenie · 12/10/2006 11:10

looking forward to seeing some photos

definitely mail me if another is on the cards, I liked doing those small, discrete, achievable little squares

as chief sewer-upper (pretentious, moi?) , I would politely request slightly longer "tails" on next lot of squares..to ease completion

Marina · 12/10/2006 11:16

I am a culprit there bundle a valid point!
Have put an update on the main blanket thread so that people can see where we are. Thank you so much for all the extra work you've put in (although you will get the lovely deserved perk of seeing the recipient's face when it is handed over )

bundle · 12/10/2006 11:17

aw, it's nothing
