Where to buy wool in France??

My question is just as above really. I'm an avid knitter/crocheter, have just moved to Paris and don't want to spend a fortune on wool in a central independent wool shop or get stung by UK stockists who ship abroad. Anyone know any French wool stockists please?

In Paris BHV and Printemps department stores both sell wool, as do some of the larger Monoprix stores.

And phildar.fr is the main chain wool and yarn shop.

I remember reading this in a blog a few years ago. May have some ideas for you but may fall under expensive independent shops :)

I think Deramores ships overseas reasonably.

Mondial Tissus stock wool - can't remember what their range is like, though. Cultura also have wool - a biggish range online, but not sure how much they have in store. I used to get lots of wool from Noz, which is hit and miss but used to have some fab finds. All of them are the kind of shops you'd find on retail parks rather than in town.
