what can I do with all my crocheted granny squares

So far I've made 100 3" squares in Rowan glace cotton, and each time I think of stopping, I discover another color combination I just have to use. The question is, what do I do with them? I was originally going to make a cot blanket for my imminent grandchild, but I don't want them to get their fingers caught up, also, it won't be warm. Would I be mad to consider a bed cover for a single bed, for when they are out of a cot? Or will they be told to appreciate it by then? Any other thoughts would be useful.

The will make a beautiful single bed blanket.

I am currently in the middle of crocheting a shades of blue blanket. For me though! For snoozing on the sofa.

I make blankets at "sofa snuggling size" so, long enough to reach feet, wide enough to wrap at the side :) This tends to be smaller than single bed sized so not too daunting a project.
