Cross stitch kit for 10yo

dd is ten and I'd like to get her a cross stitch kit for xmas. I could do with maybe a simple mini kit to start with but can't seem to find any non-babyish designs. Any ideas?

I'd say that was a little complicated - there are quite a few subtle shading area which may frustrate her and the design is on 14 count which is quite small.

How about something like these. The larger size fabric and simpler colour changes will mean more immediate results.

I started around the same age with some quite simple designs but progressed quickly to more complicated patterns once I got the hang of things.
