Gold costume for 6yo boy!!

Superhero day on Friday and DS wants to go as 'Rock Man' and assures me his outfit should be gold! I can make a cape and mask but that's where my dodgy sewing talents end!
Is there a kind of spray paint that can be used on fabric?
I'm thinking street performer type outfit.

I'd go with a yellow T-shirt with some sparkly gold fabric pens. Or if it's an old T-shirt, just gold glitter glued on.
