fruit and veg fancy dress for 2yo?

my nearly 3 year old has to go to nursery as a fruit or vegetable next week. any inspiration?

Make a strawberry mask or hat and dress her in red?

Cover her in green or purple balloons & send her as a bunch of grapes? Ok not very practical but could she take it off once she's got there?

Or if balloons are a nightmare to contemplate could you make some little balls out of coloured tights, dress her in green and send her as peas in a pod?

Dress her in yellow, put her hair in a ponytail right on top of her head and put green ribbons in.
