Lost my mojo

Been knitting for three years properly as in always got a project and knit every night. Also taught myself to crochet and have had some fun doing baby blankets. However I seem to have lost my way. I need a project. Can't seem to find anything I want to knit or crochet. Xmas is coming up and I usually have loads of ideas. Friends baby is due and I promised a blanket. Just can't seem to get going. I love seamless knits as I am quite frankly shit at sewing. I did see some yarn recently thatgot me a wee bit excited. It was flutterby chunky and felt amazing. However the colours were rank. Is this it. Am I doomed to eat and fidget each night rather than clicking away. Even dh has noticed.

Why don't you take a look at what people have been knitting and crocheting in Pinterest? That's where I get my inspiration from. Otherwise, the following blogs might help to get your creative juices flowing:
attic24.typepad.com/
littlecottonrabbits.typepad.co.uk/
cocorosetextiles.blogspot.co.uk/
sillyoldsuitcase.blogspot.nl/

Ravelry is great for inspiration as well - lots of free patterns too.
You have to sign up but it doesn't cost anything.
I have knitted some great wraps/ scarves all in garter stitch - you just need one skein of variegated yarn and they come in some amazing scarfs.
Some of my friends swear by socks as again it is quite a small project and doesn't need much yarn.
I wouldn't go for a big project - try something small and new to get you interested again.

This is my go-to seamless pattern as, quite frankly, I am a lazy trout and avoid sewing up wherever possible.

I did a ripple baby blanket recently in Sublime - yellow, white and grey. It was lovely to work with but ££.

What about knitting or crocheting a Nativity? I made one at the beginning of the year. It was good fun BUT there is loads of sewing up.

The Wooly - I love that cardigan you just linked ! I also love how you can see it in different colour ways on Ravelry and what other people have done
