It's a crafty thing. It's a Christmassy thing. It's apparently a huge thing! Patterns all over the internet.

Apparently the best ones are those you make for yourself.

I'm completely obsessed now!

I'm hooked!

MrsMinton · 16/10/2014 17:49

Those are fantastic, I want to get my glitter and cardboard out!

anyoldname76 · 16/10/2014 18:01

That's another craft project I'll start but probably never finish Grin

I only found them because of looking for "retro christmas", and the mid-century ones popped up at some point.

Welcome to the - errm, can't call it the dark side, because of all the tealights...

Shall we have a little pact? Whoever makes a putz house posts a picture of it. Agreed?

I'd like to do one a year and build up the collection.

Like I don't already have a bazillion boxes of Yule decorations.

Agreed Smile

I like your idea of adding to it each year.

BorisBaby · 18/10/2014 21:12

Me and the DC made these last year I found an old light up house lamp thing on eBay that went for silly money. So we made cardboard houses, didn't know it was a thing thought I had "invented" it Blush and now I can't wait to wake DD1 up to tell her how clever her mummy is show her Shock

I have to say my cardboard house didn't look as nice as those Sad they look so pretty at night on the windowsill

PedantMarina · 19/10/2014 00:21

Ooh! You must post a picture of yours, BorisBaby.

I don't think I have any pictures of them but will have a look on the computer tomorrow DD3 was a newborn so I can reminisce Grin. I've got a lovely printable house box for little presents on it too so will share that too.

PedantMarina · 19/10/2014 22:12
