I'm just making a list at the moment, I've worked out a knitted shopping bag pattern and want to fill it. I'm thinking three different types of sugar, three different oils and mulled wine sachets. Need to think what I'm doing for single men (only because the ones I know live with their parents so wouldn't use that). I'm going to doa version with just the food for people I wouldn't spend the time knitting for our it's a lot of knitting.

I'm planning on buying in the next week Confused

Yes, I'm already starting too. Since the baby, I can't really get it together enough to even get out of the house, not least because I'm so tired - so I'm trying to be organised and use the web much more this year. Any recommendations for good websites for kids toys or other stocking-type presents generally?

Just finishing projects I'd started in previous years:

Our stockings that are 90% finished (just tops and hooks).

Wooden gingerbread shapes (all painted, but need hooks).

One Christmas wreath embroidery (TBH, this may never be finished, but just look at it! Freaks sake - I have only done from c.1-3 o'clock).

Something involving all the table napkins I bought last year. Probably sofa cushions or similar.

And probably a dozen more I can't even remember at the moment.

My main priority is an advent calendar for DS. If I get time I'll also make a peg bag for my MIL and some Christmas bandanas for the dogs. None started yet though!

I don't know if this would be useful for anybody else, but one of my Christmas (well, Yule) storage boxes is "pre- ...." for things that I need to get out sooner than the normal deccies. Like all these craft things. >sigh

my Christmas knitting list is so long that I'm in denial about the whole thing but I just wanted to reply and say that anybody looking for inspiration and/or patterns should get themselves on to Ravelry.

Please note, I accept no responsability for any adverse effect on your to-do list or stash that may ensue...

I have got a lot of unfinished projects from previous years which I really am determined to finish this year. Other projects I want to do are intialled Christmas sacks for my boy's, a crocheted cushion cover for my DGM, a minecraft quilt for Ds1, crocheted Hello Kitty for my cousin and a bed for ds2's teddy. I have already crocheted a minion hat for ds2.

I will not get everything done I'm sure as the unfinished projects show my true track record!
