Any ideas. I'm a beginner but love it.

What would make a nice present for random female friends and relatives?

Try a roadtrip scarf, easy and quick to do and lovely when they are done!

If you are looking for smaller projects crocheted flowers made into a corsage are really pretty and are quick and easy to make.

Cowls/scarves/infinity scarves are all fairly straightforward.

Crochet Santa hats and/or scarves for bottles of wine?

I make stars and snowflakes to hang on Christmas trees. Use white glittery yarn and paint with glue to make them stiff. Very quick too. You can make a set of four in a night.
