...it is of DD's first year.

My first attempts at scrapbooking. I am not very fast at it, so it has taken me a while to complete. Some pages are obviously better than others, and some are pretty basic!

But DD likes it

oh god - I havne't put any photos in albums since dd1 was 2 - and just albums let alone scrapbooking! she's 5 now....
looks v nice ( but didn't it take a while?!?! - looks like a lot of wokr!)

hulababy · 27/09/2006 18:06

Did it take long, lol! I started in February! However, it isn't as bad as it seems. I can go days and sometimes weeks without scrapbooking. And I am fairly new to it - this was my first project, so still quite slow at certain things.

hula - so the idea is to collect all your photos and mementos and collage them in your scrap book but do it over a period of time.
i like the idea so i will try and do it for both of mine.

as well as the written notes i forget to write into a wee diary for them !

hana · 27/09/2006 18:11

I DID a my first year calender for dd1 and have started one for dd3 but poor dd2 - just never got around to it - I do have notes and dthings in my diary.....can I just do one now for her or is that just cheating? she wouldn't know would she??!

hulababy · 27/09/2006 18:18

Well DD is 4yo now, so I definitely do it over time, but in retrospect.

I am about to start scraping our Disney photos. I have lots of photos taken on our 2 visits to DLP, and 2 visits to Florida - DD is aged 18 months to 4 years. I am going to try and add more journalling in that one as we have so many memories to remember for the future!

Must get some more albums, going to have to start on DD's photos from her turning 1 now - not going to do full album per yer for these though. Just going to choose key photos/memories to scrap.
