here it is (you need to put the http// before the www then another \ then a description then finish with a } )

No I haven't, haven't bought anything arty/crafty for ages. Will have a look at the site though.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread Blondilocks, but instead of starting a new one I thought i'd ask anyone
out there tonight for advice.

I went to the states recently to vistit dh's parents. His mum is into scrapbooking & card making & I have now also become Totally addicted!

I bought so much stuff over there for my scrapbook & cardmaking & was wondering now i'm back home where is the best place to buy? Some web sites that i've looked at are really expensive, so i'd like somewhere that has reasonable prices.

Thanks alot

Adorabelle - if you go to uk scrappers you can browse the sponsors sites to see who does reasonable prices for things

You need to register on the site first though

Thanks soapbox, will check it out.

I have become a scrapaholic!

Wanted to do a scrapbook for my dd since she was born but always thought it would cost the earth.

While in the USA my mil took me to a couple of the craft shops she's a regular at, I was astounded at how cheap all the stuff was! I bought some great rubber stamps for a dollar (bout 65p) & the card making supplies were dirt cheap. I can now see why 'Craft' has its own section on mumsnet, it's very addictive

No problem - it's a similar theme (which will be useful to me!)

I've picked up some reasonable bits and pieces in the works and also WHSmith. Some of it is a bit more pricey but some isn't too bad.

Sounds like I need to go on holiday to the US next year to pick up some bits and bobs!
