White paint for photo frame?

My SIL bought a frozen poster in a frame for my DDs bedroom. She loves it but her room is a pink/white theme.
I'm thinking I'll just paint the frame but I'm not sure what kind of paint to buy as I've never done anything like this before - any recommendations???

Forgot to say - the original frame is a black colour and it's wood. I'd be looking for a white paint

Um, if you've got any gloss hanging around that would do it. Do it carefully and slowly as drips are a pain to get rid of. Otherwise, if you're buying new anyway, have a look for the chalk-based paints (Annie Sloan etc) as they don't always need undercoat etc.

I'd probably spray paint it, it would be a lot quicker. I did some frames of mine outside on a large sheet, there's tonnes of effects you can get too, glow in the dark, stone effect, glitter etc.

I just spray painted a frame. no drips and very clean finish.
chalk paint can be a bit tricky to work with if you're not used to it.
