I have bought - and washed - 6 open necked blouses www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-girls'-non-iron-long-sleeve-open-neck-school-blouse-pack-of-2-blue/p17389 when I should have bought closed necks ones to be worn with a tie www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-non-iron-long-sleeve-blouse-pack-of-2-blue/p17585 What can I do to make these suitable to wear with a tie? Sew on some velcro? Thanks.

You can try but the collar is soft....it may not support a tie.

Would it be possible to use the collars from old blouses? Should be a simple sewing job if you have some.

Thanks MrsW and EmNetta. Something to consider about reusing collars but I'm not great at sewing so it may not be a simple job for me:)

Tbh I'd iron them, explain & ask JL to exchange them. Worth a go.

Thanks pengy. As you say, worth a go at returning them.
