Half pattern drop on curtain fabric?

Can anyone please explain to me how I calculate what lengths to cut for a pair of curtains which will be two widths each and 52" finished drop.
The pattern repeat is 17.5 inches. In metric thats 132cm drop - pattern repeat 44.5cm.

17.5" x 3 = 52.5"
so you will need 4 pattern repeats for each of the 4 lengths (16 pattern repeats altogether)
This gives you 18" to play with for the turn over at the top and deep hem for each curtain.

Make sure you start at a "reasonable" place for the first cut, since that will determine what is at the top and bottom of each curtain.
