Paper Cutting

Are there any expert paper cutter amongst us? I couldn't see any other threads so apologies of I've missed one. I think they are so pretty and quite fancy giving it a shot.

I'm just going to print some free stencils and start practicing and see how I get on before attempting to design my own. Just wondered if anyone had any idea as to the best thickness of paper etc. any tips appreciated.

Have a look at paper panda (Google - on most social media) - as well as selling the finished product she sells starter kits and dispenses invaluable advice.

I'm already a fan of their Facebook page. Their work is incredible, I love the stag.

Have started practicing with smaller pieces (free downloadable stencils) and am just finding my own technique through trial and error mostly!
