Fred Aldous is the one that springs to mind here although I haven't been for ages. I've not been into Manchester for quite a while actually, so can't think of any others other than a Hobbycraft branch

I get my jewellery making supplies from the internet. I use ebay or trashcity in america. I generally find that UK ones are too expensive. You could try this one but you have to register as a trader to get the prices but they are reasonable, and they are in the UK.
