fabric shops - north london?

I've recently moved to North London. where should I go to buy fabrics that is not online? In my dreams, I'd imagine a warehouse with 10,000 fabrics (dresses / crafts / curtains / everything) that I can wander around & shop. but does it exist?

There is a little shop in edgware (near the main cross road junction - I can't remember he name Blush ) but there is a fabric warehouse in hillingdon (towards Uxbridge - it is actually called the fabric warehouse) but may be a bit far....

goldhawk road, near shepherd's bush

i know it's west, but it's very easily accessible from north london

Joel and sons, just off the edgeware road - absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable staff.

I should point out that it is huge and like a well-ordered version of Birmingham's "Bits of Cloth."
