Crochet bike saddle cover pattern

I am looking to crochet a cover for my bike seat but I am struggling to find a suitable pattern in UK terms. Has anyone seen anything?

There was one in Simply Crochet magazine towards the beginning of the year... Bear with me I will send if I can find it for you!

Is the fact that it is in Dutch a problem?

Yes, it is for me really. I don't speak Dutch and the google translation is not useful to me because I am not an experienced enough crocheter to just figure things out.

Wel, of course I DO speak Dutch. I've had another look at the pattern but she says: "I've started with three basic circle grannies. You can find the pattern here" But when you click the link you get something that is certainly not the pattern for a granny circle. So you might find a pattern for a circular granny on Ravelry, I am not really a good enough crocheter to do it from scratch.
I wonder if between the two of us we could solve it.

So are you able to work out what needs to be done around the flowers?

It's quite hard, not seeing the flowers. But looking at the picture I think you need to start on the light blue before you do the 'squaring' white round. You have twelve groups of trebles. So: front circle: between the groups of three trebles, each 3 trebles and 1 chain repeat 8 times (9 in total). In the last three spaces as follows 1st space 3 trebles 3 chains 3 trebles 1 chain. In the second space 3 trebles 1 chain. In the third space 3 trebles, 3 chains, 3 trebles 1 chain. Close the round with a slipstitch..

The other two circles as follows: 1st space: 3 trebles 3 chains 3 trebles 1 chain. Next 6 spaces 3 trebles 1 chain cast off after last repeat. 4 spaces remain.
Then it just says: Crochet the circles together whereby the with the upper two circles the parts without the light blue are next to each other.
Crochet round the whole thing as follows: In every space 3 trebles and 1 chain. Repeat 4 times (5 times in total). Crochet a cord and thread through the edge.

See how you go.

Just to say a 'stokje' is a treble, a 'losse' is a chain.

Dear Dutchoma, you so kindly worked this out for me and I didn't even say thank you!!! So rude of me and, I'm sorry! I will print this out and have a go as soon as I have completed my granny square blanket. Thanks again for your kindness.

I'm looking forward to seeing the result. Might be a while before you have joined your 400 square granny blanket together. But then, on the other hand you might get crochet withdrawal symptoms and have a sneaky go at this bike saddle cover.

That's very true, I always tend to start a project before I finish my current one anyway!!
