I like crochet and have loads of surplus wool. I would like to crochet blankets for someone who needs them but don't know who? Does anyone know of charities for single mums etc where people may appreciate these? I'm no expert but I can do basics! Thanks x

I think NNICU would be able to put them to good use. They certainly did when my son was in there, but it was a long time ago now so things may have changed.

Alternatively, I'm sure your local women's refuge would be glad of them.

When I have a bit of spare time I crochet small blankets and give them to my friend who is the bereavement midwife at the local hospital.

There are also charities like Bliss and Lisa's Stars that may accept donations of blankets.

I think there was/is a project done by Woolly Hugs on here making blankets, perhaps PM or repost in there? Lovely thought too Smile
