Christmas crafts

Hi I'm just wondering if anyone is planning on giving crafty (sewing!) gifts for Xmas if so what are you planning & when are you starting ? I was thinking maybe table runners or cushions easy to think of things for grannies harder to come up with sewn gifts for grandads. Also any suggestions for where to buy fabric (online) !

Hoping to do a tablecloth and napkins - but I've had the fabric for 2 years now! I got it from the local market - there are apparently lots of good places online though (none of which I can remember the name of)

Scarves are good - I'm fond of crushed velvet with chiffon backing. But I can't think of anything for grandads really. What is he/ are they into? Gardening - perhaps a thick kneeling pad? Or a pouch to put on a belt to hold twine etc?
Technology - pouch for an iPad or mobile phone?

Depends very much on what their interests are
