Recommend a glue for metal and wood

Hi all

I'd like to make some crafts over the summer with my DC using some old necklace beads and broken bits of silver jewellry onto wood, I've seen some ideas on Pinterest that I'd like to try.

Can anyone recommend a good adhesive that is good for this?

Thanks

Sorry I forgot to say an adhesive glue that will be DC friendly with adult supervision Grin

Been experimenting with glue recently, and am impressed with Textile Glue by Pattex, left overnight for metal/wood. Small tube (20g) under £2 so cheap enough to try, with good applicator and instructions.

Wood glue (looks like pva glue takes a while to dry so you have plenty of time to wash hands)
