Who has darned cat shredded sofa arms? Anyone?!

Fray stop glue? Curved needles? Special thick thread?

I'm researching it but have yet to find any coherent account of it, I'm just piecing together ideas, and think I may end up knowing all about it....After having practised on my sofa which I botched...

I haven't but wanted to find out as well.

The nearest I've done is cut all the offending hanging bits off and rearrange the furniture a bit!

If there is an answer to this, I need to know. My current solution is to spray water at my offending cat (grrr) which doesn't obviously undo the damage she's done or even dissuade her from it for more than five mins
