Hi, I'm having a play around with dressmaking, I'd like some recommendations or links to really simple ladies dresses please.

If you look at the burdastyle website they have loads of free patterns and they categorise them by skill level. There are some really lovely ones on there. Just google burda style uk.

this looks like a super-easy dress. No fastenings and very ingenious. It's a reissue of a vintage pattern and I'd definitely be making it if I could get away with anything that ties under the bust!
