What could I use sock wool for?
Local craft shop has some divine sock wool. It is actually almost too beautiful to use. I really just want to get some so I can look at it.....
But DH would be unreasonable and sniffy so I need a feasible project it would work for.....
I prefer crochet to knitting....

I'd look on Ravelry (advanced pattern search) for ideas, personally.

Anything you'd normally use 4 ply for. I currently have a Damson shawl on the go in lively soft, squishy sock yarn. Do you use ravelry?

He also mocked me for never using my lovely tin of lakeland pencils.
