I want to have my sofa recovered and think I have found some cotton canvas in the right colour online. Would this be suitable? I saw something similar in a shop last week but the assistant tut-tutted and said it needed to have had a rub test and wouldn't last but this stuff specifically says that it is fine for reupholstery - any thoughts? It will be a sofa used every day by the family and the shade (egg-yolk yellow) is perfect and surprisingly difficult to find so I am keen to buy.
