Sheep costume for ds..

Maybe not the right place to post but I'm desperate!
My ds is on a float for our local gala week.
He's been chosen to be a sheep (who knows?) and I've been given a big rectangle of fake fur to make a tunic and tail.
How?
Any help GREATLY appreciated!

id probably just cut a head hole in the middle, dress him in black and make him wear it like a poncho type thing but then again I'm lazy and know nothing about sewing

That's what I was thinking, but I don't want him to be the one who looks like shit

can you get hold of some cotton wool or wadding?

fold in half, cut a neck hole.

safety pin under each arm to pin the material together to make 'arm holes'.

Don't bother with a tail. Most non hill breeds of sheep have docked tails.

Black facepaint and a head band with black ears on.

Baaaa

Our nativity sheep are the tabard shape as above worn with black long sleeved polo neck and black leggings. We also have a very simple (based on the hood of an anorak as pattern) separate "hood" with ears. It's very cute!!
