All of mine are Clover soft touch. I love them.

hairypaws · 17/05/2014 19:00

Clover soft touch for me too.

Jinglebells99 · 17/05/2014 19:00

I have a clover soft touch hook that is very comfortable to use. I also have two sets from knit pro, a wooden set which are very pretty and comfortable and another set all with coloured plastic handles and metal hooks. They come in a handy case.

Gawd knows what happened there!

For me Knit Pro New Waves are the best, plus I like that the different sizes are different colours.

I love my pony ones. Tried some eBay cheapies and not too impressed, and really didn't like the clover one I tried (one with the yellow handle and black thumb rest bit) as it was too short. But I am gradually replacing all of my cheap ones with aluminium pony ones.

Search Facebook for "fleabubs handmade by lala" she makes gorgeous hooks and if they come and you don't like the feel (hook are really individual it seems) she will happily take them back and replace them with different ones.

The is no such thing as the Best Crochet Hook, just what is best for you :)

I am more than happy with my cheapy standard metal ones.

MadScientistsRuleTheAsylum · 26/05/2014 09:08

Mine are clover soft touch, lovely hook :-) the pony ones make my hands ache.

Easy Grip from Hobbycraft. I don't like plastic or bamboo hooks, metal glide through the loops of wool more easily. I found after an hour or so with a normal metal one I would have cramp in my hooking hand, the Easy Grip one is much more comfortable.

I love Addi Swing hooks.
Second choice would be clover.
