Stitching appliqué to a solid granny square.

I have crocheted a solid granny square and a little heart, how do I stitch it onto said square?

if your heart is worked in the round I'd just st round the edge using the heart colour yarn coming up under the top st and going down under the next st, it will barely be noticeable, if at all from the top. Just don't pull the yarn too tight as you work so the square still retains its stretch
