I want to make a skirt, something along the lines of these:

Could you help me find a pattern please? I'm not sure where to look because I've never made clothes before.

There you go!

What about this one?

BiscuitCrumb · 16/04/2014 16:34

It's a digital pattern BTW but there's an excellent walk through on sewing it on her blog.

Have a look at Colette - their designs look similar.

The link will take you to a site that sells the patterns this side of the Atlantic.

You could go for a free pattern for a skirt like that.

Try party skirt

or

gathered skirt with zip

or

skirt with pockets

Ooh there's some lovely patterns there, and some have pockets!

The first link is more of a tulip skirt (I love these).

Try here for the waistband in the first one.

I love burdastyle patterns, they're more modern than most vogue or simplicity patterns, and are quite easy.
