Which glue?

Dd is making and selling hairbands for charity. She starts with a basic satin Alice band which she is adorning with ribbon bows and sequin flowers. However she's having a few problems with the embellishments coming off.

She has tried fabric glue (green bottle) and tacky glue (yellow bottle), both from Hobbycraft. I did ask in Hobbycraft and they said the tacky would probably be better. But she wants to make sure they are really secure before selling them.

Any ideas as to the best glue for this?

Hot glue. Although it is very hot so be careful.
You can buy a basic hot glue gun for a few quid in Hobbycraft.
It's by far the best glue for things like that though.
