Anyone know a recipe for playdoh??

Hi! I am quite new to mumsnet so I hope you dont mind me asking!! I have been looking for a recipe for playdoh that is safe for my children to nibble on! but everything I can find contains loads of salt and as my dd2 eats everything in site I know she will be eating it! Hope you can help!

Tracy,

If I were you I really would buy playdoh or softstuff (the ELC version).

They are non-toxic (and taste unpleasant, so unlikely to go in the mouth more than once), and will come out of carpets/upholstery much more easily then home-made.

My mother's help made some 3 years ago. The little bits that inevitably go on the floor dry and weld themselves into the carpet for life, honestly, whereas the commercial stuff crumbles and vaccuums out.
