Tracing pics?

i did one for dd1's 2nd birthday a couple of years ago. Sid read it out!!!!

i used a big sheet of A3 card, printed out her favourite cbeebies characters from the time and coloured them in and then stuck them all round the card. I wrote 'XXXXX is TWO!' in bubble writing which i traced and then cut out of silver hologram paper and stuck them in the top middle of the card. i put a cut-out of Boo under the writing which lifted up to reveal a pic of dd1. for the finishing touch i stuck bright pink feathers pulled out of a duster from the pound shop all the way round the card.

so i'd say, make it big and colourful with lots of sparkles and characters from the website, and send it in in plenty of time (at least 3 weeks before, pref more than that).

tbh the size the characters are on the printable pics are plenty big enough, esp when you've got a few to put on the card

alexsmum · 07/08/2006 19:05

yay... I'm sure it will be brilliant and you and your ds will be so proud when you see your work on the telly

you could buy a comic and cut the pictures out of that..... (or is that not arty and crafty enough for this topic? Sorry - don't want to offend )
