Is it just 12 trebles, or is it 3 then 1 chain between each set of 3?

Just about to relaunch myself into crochet...

thanks

either although a chain in between makes it easier to count!

good point - easier is what I'm after!
thanks

I don't put a chain inbetween each set of trebles simply because I like the finished article to be less "holey". But don't forget the 2 or 3 chain at the corners. (I use 2 some use 3...)

Just be consistent

I do 1 chain between each set at the sides and 2 in a corner.

There isn't really a right or wrong way to do it. Loads of patterns out there that use various combinations. It's personal preference.

I put one chain between each three trebles as it helps me count and puts me in a rhythm to get me to the corner.

I did my first grant square last weekend from The little tin bird website, I find it very easy. and addictive. I want to do everything as a square

Good luck, let us know how you get on.
