new crochet blog

please note that I have NC because I know my blog will identify me, but I am a regular - especially on this board.

But I would love some feedback on my first post on my crochet blog

Hi. It's a bit hard to tell from only one entry but it seems well written. I think we need to see a bit more of you in your writing but that will probably be more apparent with a few more posts.

I like the project bag, I might have to steal that idea!

Keep going with it though, I hope to read further entries.

The content is really nice, but remember the 3 second rule you need to capture your reader in that time.
Writing is good, though font is too small so not very tempting to read. The actual font is also fairly bland.
Photos again too small and contrast is not quite right. I follow Attic 24 and According to Matt, their photos are much bigger and their contrasts are much brighter making the photos more attractive.
The top of your blog needs something eye catching to draw the reader in. Remember this is your 'shop window' and you need to dress it.
It is really worth getting a Facebook page to link to your blog and getting your friends to like it to spread you audience and let people know when you make a new post.
I like to feel that the blog is a friend chatting to me and you do have that feel to it.

I really like the change of back ground much more appealing.
