Staying in touch with your kids

Hi everyone. I live away from my kids Alice and Zoe - they're the most creative children you'll ever meet (I like to think they get some of that from their dad) but I never get to see their artwork due to having to work away from home.

Does anybody know of a website where children can share their creative past-times with loved ones online so I can look at and treasure these precious memories.

Not a specific website but when my DH worked away we used facebook and YouTube. You can share whatever you want and keep it as private as you want.

Is that really a safe place to share pictures or videos of your children online?

I am writing as a slightly concerned parent who would similarly like their children to be able to share pieces of work or videos online, but in a safe way.

There's an app called artkive. Maybe worth a look if you have an iphone/iPad.

Thank you. It looks really great. I will keep this in mind, but this just seems more for printing.

Dropbox?

Flickr - you can create folders so that only invited people can see the photos or they can be public.

Dropbox or YouTube - you can set youtube up so that your videos are not public, you invite people to watch them.

We used dropbox to send photos and videos of our children to both sets of Grandparents.
