That attach the cord to the board? The drawing pins just come away if you tuck something in the cord Confused

Don't people staple gun the elastic behind the board and then just use the drawing pins for aesthetic value?

It's stapled behind really securely but if you use the front to tuck things in its not that secure with just the pins.

The pictures on notonthehighstreets version has round pins which look like the go through to the back and hammer open at the back ?

You need really solid, upholstery pins, not your average drawing pins.

I've made two pin boards and used upholstery pins. They sometimes come in decorative designs and are much more solid than drawing pins. Mine are still going strong years later.
