Double sided colour A4 paper

We've been given a paper aeroplane kit that has A4 paper in that is contrasting colours on each side - say red on the front and yellow on the back. I want to buy some more, but can't find it online. Does anyone know where I can buy it, please?

Origami paper is double sided. Would that be any good? A lot of it may be too small but it does come in larger sheets too if you look round. Sorry I don't know how to link but Amazon has a pack of jumbo origami paper for £5.99

5Hundred - yeah, I've been looking at origami paper, but it seems to all be square, and most paper aeroplanes use rectangular paper. We could cut it down, but it would make quite small planes and would be a bit more fiddly for the kids.

Thanks for the amazon link, but it's only single coloured.

I think it's called Duplex paper sometimes

I'd like to find some green/white card so have been looking online (not successfully yet, at least not in my budget!) but some things come up with that search.

Hmmm, had a look but I mainly seem to get results related to duplex printing - even filtering them out I'm not getting any double sided paper.

Is there a contact address/phone number/email on the kit packaging? If so, would it be worth contacting the makers and asking them either A) could you purchase some more of the paper from them, or B) which suppliers do they get it from.

cornflakegirl · 03/01/2014 21:34

Yeah, I have looked at that, but the author is based in the States and the publisher in Australia (and their website is shocking) so I don't think either will be helpful. Will try emailing the author and see what happens.

Oooh, really fast reply from the author - but he says the paper was a special order and not generally available Sad

Oh that's a shame. Or being a tad cynical here do you think he's saying that in order to protect his own interests?

Is there absolutely no clue whatsoever on the kit to say who has supplied the paper to him?

cornflakegirl · 04/01/2014 13:44

I guess it's possible. But not really sure what he gains. If I were him I'd flog the paper from his website, but he didn't even seem to be selling his own books!

Is this any good?

It's same but contrasting colours - so red on one side and lighter red on the other.

Yes! That's exactly it! Currently unavailable :( But that's the closest yet - thanks!
