Creating a pregnancy belly cast using plaster of Paris powder - any hints or tips?

Hey peeps,

I'm 38 weeks & wanted to do a belly cast, I couldn't find any of the bandages that you soak, so I'm trying the next best thing - plaster of Paris powder

I have a ton of Vaseline so the plaster doesn't stick to my skin, I have a load of bandages - but how do I get all of this into creating a cast?

Does any body know or has anyone done this before?

Any help appreciated :-) xx

I bought
www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_nkw=belly+casting+kit&rt=nc&LH_PrefLoc=1t
DS has a cast, DD does not due to me going into labour early.

Doesn't plaster of Paris burn? Maybe try papier mache??
