Sad but needy question!

We have glued tissue paper squares onto a glass to make a lovely present. Covered it with PVA glue and waiting for glasses to dry. Does anyone know if you can drink out of them/get the PVA wet etc? Did it as teachers' pressies and realised that they may not be drinkable out of Obviously not dishwasher proof but general use?

I would say probaly not. I think PVA peels off glass so it wouldn't withstand washing.

Can you put tealights inthem instead?

Excellent idea Soupy. We have something called Mod Podge here and I just made some beautiful candles in tall glasses with bits of tissue paper covering the glass with raffia and some nice beads with a dangling charm. My DD loves doing this kind of stuff too...
