Emulsion for Chalkboard Paint?

Has anyone, successfully, used emulsion paint for chalkboard paint?

All the recipes I can find use acrylics paint. I have some left over emulsion paint, that would be the perfect colour. Hoping I can use it.

Yeah I have bought some unsanded grout from wilkinsons for£1.49 and mixed in with emulsion. You do need quite a few coats but works just fine Grin
